Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

We have isolated a couple of questions that numerous people still tend to ask. After doing some additional research, we have found some of the answers to these questions, making them easier for you to understand:

Q. Should I buy phase coating or multicoating?
A. While both of them have their benefits, the multicoating is the one you need to focus on. Multicoated lenses will disperse different light colors and make it easier for you to distinguish colors. Fortunately, these two can be used in conjunction and this will almost completely eliminate any glare issues.

Q. What is the quick focus feature?
A. The quick focus feature enables you to quickly view something and be focused in on the target. While this is ideal for short ranges, it might not be great for long range hunting. Since it does focus quickly, it will also defocus quickly.

Q. Which is the best brand of hunting binoculars currently?
A. Most people go for popular brands such as Bushnell or Nikon and this is not wrong. Besides, they say that it’s worth the investment if everyone likes it. However, there are less popular, yet quality brands out there such as the aforementioned Celestron binoculars. In a nutshell, any of the reviewed brands above should serve you right.

  1. I have tried many binoculars so far and I think that so far the Carson VP is the best. I just simply love its design, weight and the overall build quality. Before this one I was using my sisters binoculars the Nikon Monarch 5 12×42 and it is also good when it comes to performance in my honest opinion. I think maybe because it has the ED glass. I must say I have now officially become the Carson’s fan. I bought both of these products on Amazon and when I bought the VP, I asked them through their website that would it be okay if I take this binocular to the beach and after just a day they responded that yes it would be ok but even better if I use the VP 10×42 for a less shaking view while holding it in the hand.
